Lackey tags are special trackables that can only be obtained as a gift from a lackey.
The term lackey arose as a way to describe those people who performed the behind-the-scenes maintenance to keep Geocaching.com functioning. It is often seen as a humorous referance to the grunt work they do.
Identifying if a user is a lackey requires nothing more than looking at their profile. At the top of their profile, it will read “Profile for Lackey”.
Prying Pandora, aka Cathy, has been a lackey since 2009 and is one of the most active geocachers in Geocaching headquarters.
